Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Ritma Yoga (“Ritma Yoga”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a personal yoga-journaling application that lets you log your yoga sessions, track your progress, and optionally share your practice with friends. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Ritma Yoga app you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Ritma Yoga is operated by Rendy Reynaldy, an independent developer based in Indonesia. For any privacy question or request, contact us at rendyreynaldy@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
a. Account information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and (where available) your profile picture. We use this to create and identify your account. You may also set a username and profile photo within the app.
b. Content you create
Information you enter about your practice, including: session title, yoga style, intensity, duration, date and time, coach, organizer, location, notes, and any photos or videos you attach to a session.
c. Social activity
If you use the social features, we store your follows, likes, and comments, and the list of people you follow and who follow you.
d. Technical data
Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as your authentication token and standard server request logs (e.g. IP address and timestamp). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
3. How we use your information
- To create your account and authenticate you.
- To store, display, and sync your yoga journal across your devices.
- To power features you choose to use — stats, streaks, calendar, and the social feed.
- To keep the service secure and to diagnose and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Google user data & Limited Use
Ritma Yoga’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access the basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) needed to sign you in, we use it solely to provide and improve the app’s user-facing features, and we do not transfer or sell it to third parties except as required to run the service or by law.
5. Where your data is stored
Your journal is kept offline-first on your own device. When you sign in, your data also syncs to our backend server and your photos and videos are stored as private objects on Cloudflare R2 object storage. Media is served back to the app only through our authenticated server. All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
6. Sharing & third parties
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Ritma Yoga:
- Google & Apple — for sign-in / authentication.
- Cloudflare R2 — to store your session photos and videos.
- Our own backend server, hosted on a private virtual server.
Content you post to the social feed (sessions, photos, comments, likes) is visible to the friends you allow within the app. We do not otherwise disclose your personal data, except where required by law.
7. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sessions and their media at any time from within the app. You can also request full deletion of your account and all associated data — see Delete your account.
8. Children’s privacy
Ritma Yoga is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing rendyreynaldy@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
